Motherhood was supposed to come with a village. For most of us, it doesn't.

I've seen how isolation quietly fuels anxiety, burnout, and the feeling that you're failing at something everyone else seems to have figured out. Moms are holding more than ever, and doing it largely alone.

At Mind Wanderer, I'm redefining what mental health care looks like for mothers, making it easy to show up for and something you can actually look forward to.

More about Me

I'm Lauryn, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate based in Tacoma, Washington. I work with moms at every stage of motherhood using ACT, Parts Work, mindfulness, and attachment-based approaches. I also draw on my yoga teacher background to access what emotionally lives in the body.

More than any method, what I'm offering is an open, authentic space where you don't have to manage how you come across. Where you can be unedited. That's where I believe the real change happens.

I was drawn to this work after my own experiences in motherhood left me disconnected from myself and others. I struggled to communicate and felt my sense of self diminish. I use my own experience to meet every client’s background with empathy and respect.

Things I like:

Finding new coffee shops, walking with my babies (son and two dogs), bike rides with my husband, climbing things, reading fiction, crying at the movie theater, trying to watercolor.

Say goodbye to stuffy therapy offices with overstuffed couches and tissue boxes.

Mind Wanderer is a traveling therapy office, warm, private, and built to feel like somewhere you want to spend your time.

It's parked in your neighborhood, your office lot, down the street from school pickup. Because if we're serious about making therapy accessible, it has to actually be accessible.
